Terms of Use

Last updated: June 12, 2026

These Terms of Use describe the rules for using the SportGether public app to browse activities, register attendance, and manage RSVPs.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using SportGether, you agree to use the service in accordance with these terms, applicable laws, and any activity-specific rules provided by organizers.

2. Platform role

SportGether is a coordination tool for publishing activities, managing registrations, and communicating attendance status. SportGether does not independently organize, supervise, inspect, or guarantee the safety of activities.

3. Activity information

Activity details are provided by organizers. You should review the date, location, route, difficulty, equipment, weather, transport, capacity, and organizer instructions before registering or attending.

4. Registration accuracy

Use accurate registration details and keep your RSVP up to date. If your plans change, update your response promptly so organizers can manage capacity and waiting interest fairly.

5. Guest and member access

Members must keep login credentials secure. Guests must keep management links private. Anyone with access to a valid guest link may be able to view or update the related registration.

6. Participant responsibilities

You are responsible for your own readiness, health, equipment, transport, timing, conduct, and decision to participate. Follow organizer instructions and make safe choices based on actual conditions.

7. Outdoor activity risk

Hiking and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, weather changes, navigation errors, wildlife, terrain hazards, transport delays, and limited access to emergency services.

8. User content and notes

If you submit notes, names, messages, or other content, you must have the right to provide it and must not submit unlawful, harmful, private, misleading, abusive, or infringing content.

9. Prohibited conduct

You may not impersonate others, misuse invite links, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape data, upload malware, harass participants, or use SportGether for unlawful activity.

10. Organizer and third-party actions

Organizers and participants are responsible for their own actions, communications, event decisions, cancellations, and safety planning. SportGether is not responsible for third-party conduct.

11. Suspension or removal

Access, registrations, links, or content may be suspended, limited, or removed if they appear to violate these terms, create risk, or interfere with reliable service operation.

12. Disclaimer and limitation

SportGether is provided as an activity coordination tool. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided without warranties and is not liable for activity outcomes, outdoor conditions, organizer decisions, participant conduct, or third-party services.

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when features, workflows, infrastructure, or legal requirements change. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.

14. Governing terms and contact

These terms are provided as a deployment-ready template. Production deployments should replace this section with the legal operator name, contact email, governing law, venue, and any required consumer-rights language for the jurisdictions where users participate.
